just another day called monday

Colourful socialites and fashionable butterflies, glossed in the latest Photoshop applications, prepare themselves for the week ahead. It’s another endless soirée of grandest Gatsby’s expectations. It’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that and a complimentary glass of champers…..

Others prefer to toast in the week ahead in the safety den of loved and cherished friends as they ease their swaying hips into another week. They curse the dawning of Mondays and drink espressos like shooters in the frantic attempt to fast forward the admin and recover the weekend that has passed…making it last just that little bit longer.

I’d rather just spend the night in.

It’s a rare treat.Yes, I think I’ve come to appreciate Mondays.

I’m not saying that they are the most flattering things known to mankind. But they have their place and deserve some saving grace.

I have not really got it figured out yet.

The one thing that  I have figured is that they are great days to simply be. There is no need to erase them with copious amounts of huffing and puffing. Trying to disguise them just like any other party night feels beyond me.

They are however a great day to put wild card ideas into action and allow yourself an early night in or some much deserved me time. Bubble baths and good reads or icecream-sofa-bellylaughs with fun TV comedy..

Where you now stand is a result of thoughts and feelings that you have offered before, but where you are going is a result of your perspective of where you now stand. Abraham-Hicks

Besides I’m pretty.happy.busy …

I might as well make the most of it and take the chance to make the most if it in any shape or form.
