Where the pretty things actually happen.

Pretty isn’t found in ruby red heels, lips, kisses, or dresses.

Sexy isn’t found in the lack of close, indecent exposure, lust, or glimmers into tokens we’re not worthy of.

So what happens when you blend art and sexy and pretty and naked? Something soulful. The real giants in all of us. That truest, greatest, realest, sacredest part we forget.

Unwrapping the gentle rock-a-by, loungy sounds, like chocolate over the tongue, silk of the senses, and a whole lot of clearly defined edges… this was the track my heart was craving – before I even knew it. Dupped with Electronique inflexions, this track refuses to be boxed and demands to be played. The perfect soundscore for the next profound moment of your favourite television series. Wedged between love, loss, courage, and hope.

You know.

That scene.

And if you’re wondering why you missed it.

It because it’s still revealing itself to the world, crystallizing, and making its wings known.  Painting itself on the lips of those who still know how to listen. Like we do.

And we do.

“Giants is a giant EP, full of aesthetic grace and captivating harmonic textures, while Leah Capelle’s voice provides the yummy icing on the musical cake.” — POPDUST

Grace. Yes. Harmony. Absolutely. Silk – you can’t forget about that part. Or how much bite it has as it climbs right there into you. As if it was always in your DNA.

Crazy how amazing music does that.

So here’s what you want to know about that…

In her own words:

“I WANTED THE VISUAL TO BE POWERFUL, BUT STILL HAVE AN AIR OF FUN AND SPONTANEITY. AS A WOMAN IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, IT’S SO IMPORTANT THE EVALUATE THE EXPECTATIONS OF WHAT WOMANHOOD ‘SHOULD LOOK LIKE’ IN MODERN SOCIETY, AND COME TOGETHER WITH FELLOW WOMEN TO BREAK THOSE EXPECTATIONS DOWN. SO THE VIDEO, WHILE ABOUT COMING TO TERMS WITH WHAT MAKES EACH OF US UNIQUE, IS ALSO ABOUT BEING COMFORTABLE IN OUR OWN, TRUEST FORMS.”

My last word – sense-ful-ationational. And yes, we can just make it up like that.

Art only speaks in art.
