Wild Ones

Across The Board is an award-winning Canadian rock band from Toronto, Ontario. Formed in 2013, Across The Board quickly gained popularity with their YouTube cover series Pick Up and Play (now with over 500 videos on YouTube), imprinting their unique and innovative musical style and videography on both contemporary and classic rock songs while featuring other local artists as guests.

And guess what … they just released their latest. Latest. Wild One.

The very sound 2019 deserves.

It’s happened.

This is where the prophecy unfolds to be told.

This is where allure conjures up cries, growls, howls, and hisses and offers itself up for you delight and wonder. I can think of one such circus that could take this beat forth into the dust. My finger yearns to trace its way to Instagram. To make magick known. Pass on the whisper. Ravish the howl. Stand tall.

But first, we play.

*It’s so good you might give yourself shingles when you were aiming for tingles.

The harmonics are wild, the lyrics draw blood, the musicality runs its fingers through your fur. The vocals cast light and turn up shadows. Alchemy holds it in play. Wicked Solo too.

As all great legends go, there are Monsters, Wild Natures, and Truth. Reckonings and Storms. It’s no wonder that “Calling” is one of my favourite tracks.

This is the album to come undone by.

This is that album that pushes you into you.

Stirs You.

Dances circles around you.

And reminds you in a world gone barbaric – wild isn’t that. Wild is closer to home. I’m not sure why it feels like this precious piece of cargo feels like a secret. A coming of age.

Why? Because “Alpha Wolf” brings the stars, the blood, the wild, the dark and edges itself into poetry. The real work to be danced.

This album is a work IN art. Yes.

It’s not to be stripped or shaved.

It simply is.
